Employment Opportunities – New Rules for Global Finance Coalition

Former Internship & Fellowship Programs  (no longer available)

2016 Summer Internships & Fellowships

New Rules for Global Finance is a nongovernmental organization that promotes reforms in the rules and institutions that govern international finance; in order to support just, inclusive and sustainable economic development. New Rules convenes critical actors and policymakers from developed and developing countries to identify and advocate politically feasible and technically sound solutions to systemic issues of international finance and resource mobilization which impede sustainable and inclusive development. New Rules for Global Finance seeks an energetic and committed individual to join the organization for an exciting internship to support our current work. We are a small organization where interns are treated like staff and gain genuine professional experience. We expect interns to come ready to both learn and contribute.

New Rules’ current project activities focus on four areas: 1) research and advocacy on governance reforms of the IMF and other international financial institutions (IFIs); 2) developing practical tools to assess the distributional impacts of both macroeconomic policies and IFIs; 3) analyzing the impact of global financial rules on developing economies; and 4) advocating for international tax rules and policies that support sustainable and inclusive growth. Upcoming projects include: Follow-up on Financing for Development (FfD) and Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Framework for Assessing Inequality, Evaluation of IFI Technical Assistance, IMF Governance Reforms and Civil Society Engagement with IMF.
